General laborers are responsible for safely handling lumber products and verifying that materials meet customer requirements and company expectations. Key duties include moving and securing lumber and other materials, stacking finished products according to specifications, labeling materials by type, size, and count, and applying individual tags before or after treatment/production. Responsibilities also involve using a staple gun, troubleshooting equipment, banding and bundling materials securely, and ensuring correct quantities are strapped and labeled before leaving the work area. Additionally, laborers must maintain accurate inventory of tags, record production data, keep the work area clean and organized, assist with material handling in other areas, and participate in safety and improvement programs.
Good To Have:- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
