Job Description

Publicis Groupe, a global communications leader, seeks a Global Account Planner for its Starcom brand. This role involves managing a key client's media account, reporting to the Account Manager & Director. Responsibilities include coordinating global strategy, reporting, developing media guidelines, competitive research, campaign tracking, and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of media planning experience and strong analytical and communication skills.
Must have:
  • Coordinate global strategy and guideline governance with local teams.
  • Conduct regular Global reporting, extracting learnings and providing recommendations.
  • Assist in developing global media strategy and guidelines.
  • Conduct competitive research and present insights to clients.
  • Maintain campaign trackers, budget sheets, and status updates.
  • Develop and execute various planning scenarios.
  • Work with other media team members in daily responsibilities.
  • Utilize appropriate planning tools and maintain knowledge of new technologies.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with media advertising representatives.
  • Maintain high level of work quality.
  • Manage scheduling, posting, tracking of advertising, and compile weekly performance reports.
  • Advanced level of English (C1).
  • 2 years’ experience in online and traditional media planning in an agency setting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or related program.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Complete knowledge of interactive & Offline marketing concepts and practices.
  • Proficiency in O365 and GWI.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Overview

You will be part of the exclusive team for one of the most important clients of the group both in Spain and worldwide. Reporting to the Account Manager & Director, you will have the primary day-to-day responsibility and is expected to be unquestionably familiar with all account details as they pertain to media.

Responsibilities

  • Global strategy and guideline governance: fully coordinate and liaise with local teams for campaigns reporting and adherence to guidelines.
  • Conduct regular Global reporting by extracting learnings and providing recommendations based on media results (according to the different KPIs of the campaign).
  • Assist in developing global media strategy and guidelines that include channel recommendations, audience segmentation & global learnings.
  • Conduct competitive research onto the category to remain up to date and present insights to the clients.
  • Maintain campaign trackers, budget sheets, and status updates.
  • Develop and execute various planning scenarios based on media objectives and strategies.
  • Work with other members of the media team in daily media responsibilities.
  • Utilize appropriate planning tools to achieve optimum performance for media campaigns; maintain knowledge of new and emerging technologies to continually enhance campaign execution.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with media advertising representatives.
  • Maintain high level of work quality.
  • Manage the scheduling, posting, and tracking of advertising and compile weekly performance reports, as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Advanced level of English (C1)
  • 2 years’ experience in online and traditional media planning experience in an agency setting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or related program.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A complete knowledge of interactive & Offline marketing concepts and practices.
  • Required software proficiencies: O365, GWI & Looker / datorama ideally
  • Strong analytical skills.
