Your assignments:
As a Graduate Development Program - Marketing Trainee, you will join Innovation Engineering, a community of approx. 1,300 colleagues dedicated to catalysing innovation across all of Philips business units. In this two-year traineeship, you will gain hands-on experience, contribute to high-impact projects, and grow into a trusted Marketing professional.
First assignment:
- Support Innovation Engineering-wide Marketing initiatives, such as developing catalogues, proposition decks, and SharePoint materials.
- Contribute to department-level broadcasting initiatives, support event planning, storytelling, and content creation (e.g., decks, Viva Engage posts, impact stories).
- Leverage new technologies (such as AI) to enhance and automate Marketing content.
Second assignment:
- Continue building on Year 1 activities.
- Take the lead on a strategic Marketing project, acting as a consultant for Philips’ Business Units.
- In this role, you will collaborate closely with an experienced communications expert, Chief of Staff and Operational Excellence Team, while engaging with a diverse network of stakeholders across Innovation Engineering. As a central function, this position gives you the unique ability to quickly understand the full Philips innovation landscape.
As a GDP trainee you will receive a 2.5 years, full time employment contract with excellent labor conditions.
You're the right fit if:
- You have completed a Master's degree, preferably in Marketing or Marketing Communications, or a related field and are available per 16th of March 2026
- You have affinity with Healthcare and Technology
- You have a proactive, collaborative mindset, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to tailor messages to different stakeholders.
- You have a passion for driving Marketing projects, with creativity and affinity for media tools and content creation.
- Prior experience in Marketing or Marcom (internship or similar) is a plus.
- You need to have excellent English communication skills; Dutch language skills are a plus
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. You are based in Eindhoven, but there are also opportunities to work from the Amsterdam office now and then.
Recruitment Process

- Within 1 week after your application, you will be informed whether you passed the pre-selection round, and if yes, you will be invited to perform a gamified test and video interview.
- After the test and video interview we will come back to you at the latest on the 19th of December where we will let you know if you will be invited for an online interview with the Early Career Talent Partner; which will take place between 5th of January and 14th January
- You will be informed latest on the 16th of January 2026 whether you belong to the best performers, and if so, you will be invited for the final face to face interviews, which will take place in Eindhoven, between 20th of January and the 22nd of January 2026. We will share with you the outcome of these interviews within a couple of days.
- Start date will be Monday 16th of March 2026
