Job Description

Seeking energy professionals to deliver innovative green fuel solutions. The role involves providing engineering and consultancy services to the energy sector, from conceptual design to detailed feasibility studies. Responsibilities include involvement in feasibility studies, conceptual design, technical due diligence, FEED, and basic engineering across Green Fuels (such as green hydrogen and ammonia) projects in Asia. This role requires experience in process engineering/design, developing process calculations, cost estimation, knowledge of industry standards, and report writing.

Must have:

Degree in Chemical Engineering.
5-12 years of process engineering experience with focus on Green Hydrogen and Ammonia.
Experience developing process calculations for fuel storage and transportation.
Ability to develop cost estimation, NPV, IRR, LCOE, and LCOH calculations.
Knowledge of process modeling software and relevant technical computing tools.
Good knowledge of industry standards and practices related to process design and safety.
Expert in report writing and fluent in English communications.
Ability to multi-task, manage multiple interfaces and prioritize work.

Good to have:

Experience in consulting firms.
Experience with Electrolyzers is a plus.

In line with our increasing business, we are looking for a Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Consultant/Senior Consultant for our energy business in SEA countries.

Job Description

As part of an interconnected team, you will provide engineering and consultancy services to the energy sector from conceptual design to detailed feasibility studi. As part of the AFRY team, you will be involved in feasibility studies, conceptual design, technical due diligence, FEED, and basic engineering across Green Fuels (such as green hydrogen and ammonia) projects in Asia.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university
5-12 years of process engineering/design experience with some experience specifically in Green Hydrogen and Ammonia required.
Developing process calculations for different Green Fuel storage, transportation by pipeline, vessels, etc. Experience with Electrolyzers is a plus.
Strong understanding to develop cost estimation, calculating NPV, IRR, LCOE, and LCOH, etc.
Knowledge of process modeling aoftware and experience in the use of relevant technical computing tools.
Good knowledge of industry standards and practices related to process design and safety.
Expert in report writing and fluent in English communications.
Experience in consulting firms is preferred.
Ability to multi-task, manage multiple interfaces and prioritize work.
