  • 7–10+ years of experience in product management.
  • At least 2–3 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital publishing, marketplaces, or high-scale consumer digital platforms.
  • Proven track record of end-to-end product development.
  • Competence in using digital analytics and operational tools.
  • Deep understanding and application of the Agile delivery framework.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of SEO and audience acquisition processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to undertake budget planning, hit performance targets, and execute flawlessly.
  • Right to lawfully work and live in Australia.

  • Strong experience with AI-driven product features is a plus.

Job Description

As the Group Manager – Content & Audience, you will have the unique opportunity to lead the development of next-generation digital products and experiences. You will lead a high-performing team of product professionals and apply a deep analytical, user-centric approach to align daily delivery with our overarching business strategy.

This is a career-defining role responsible for defining and executing Drive's product strategy to accelerate audience growth, deepen engagement, and drive commercial outcomes across our editorial, publishing, advertising, and marketplace platforms.

Day to day you will:

  • Lead a diverse team of product professionals, championing product-led processes and thinking across the organization.
  • Develop and align quarterly and annual product roadmaps. Identify and lead initiatives focused on audience and engagement that drive positive commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with UX and design teams to prioritize user testing, ensuring customer insights inform critical product decisions.
  • Act as the Product Owner for the Content & Audience squad, leading daily agile cadences, refining business requirements, and scoping activities based on customer impact.
  • Establish and monitor OKRs to track product performance, delivery progress, and user sentiment. Work with data teams to develop and report on key user behaviour metrics.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Media, or a related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital publishing, marketplaces, or high-scale consumer digital platforms.
  • Proven track record of end-to-end product development, from concept to launch and iteration.
  • Strong experience with AI-driven product features is a plus.
  • Competence in using digital analytics and operational tools like WordPress, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and JIRA.
