Maintain employee master data in HR management systems and electronic personnel files.
Act as the primary contact for health insurance companies and authorities.
Collaborate closely with other HR departments (Recruiting, Global Mobility) and payroll.
Contribute to implementing HR strategy and developing HR processes.
Completed commercial training in HR administration or a degree in HR management.
3-5 years of professional experience in operational HR support.
Proficiency in HR information systems (e.g., Workday).
Initial experience working with works councils.
Proficiency in Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and MS-Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

Become part of our 12-person Human Resources team as an HR Generalist (temporary parental leave cover), responsible for operational HR support for a total of five countries in the EMEA region. You will be surrounded by motivated and committed colleagues with big hearts and humor, who share your passion for the colorful, diverse bouquet of HR work and will give you deep insights into the structures and processes of a leading international e-commerce company. Furthermore, you can independently take responsibility for various HR (sub-)projects. Hybrid work is regulated as follows: 3 days office presence, 2 days home office.

Your Responsibilities:

Support and advice for employees, managers, and COEs on all operational HR matters in Germany through various channels (e.g., walk-in, case management, live chat, virtual open door), considering SLAs.
Processing administrative HR management tasks within the scope of personnel support throughout the entire employee lifecycle (from onboarding, including contract creation, to contract changes, absence management, completing certificates, and offboarding).
Conducting and evaluating regular reports on fixed-term employment relationships & work permits to proactively support our employees and managers.
Maintaining master data of our employees in the HR management system and managing electronic personnel files.
First point of contact for health insurance companies and authorities.
Close exchange with other HR departments (e.g., Recruiting, Global Mobility) and payroll.
Contribution to the implementation of the HR strategy and the further development of HR processes to improve operational effectiveness.

Your Profile:

Successfully completed commercial training in HR administration or a degree with a focus on HR management.
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in operational HR support.
Proficiency in HR information systems, such as Workday.
Initial experience working with works councils.
Proficiency in Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc.) and MS-Office applications (Outlook, Excel and Word).
