Job Description
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for planning and organizing production, monitoring production activities, managing the work team, ensuring personnel safety, guaranteeing product quality, maintaining continuous communication with staff, and addressing disciplinary issues and absenteeism. They also verify line startup procedures, ensure operational availability of equipment, review scrap reports, and verify staff attendance.

- Verify line startup and model change procedures (Set-up)
- Start the production line
- Verify and ensure operational availability, utilization, and capacity of equipment
- Review and sign scrap reports
- Verify staff attendance to complete lines
- Develop/lead projects to improve attendance, scrap, and production compliance metrics
- Lead the multidisciplinary team to achieve area goals
- Ensure 5S compliance in the area
- Lead Tier 2 / KPI meetings
- Completed Professional Degree (electronic / electromechanical / Industrial engineering)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as SMT Production Supervisor
- English (50% or more required)
- Experience in personnel management
- Ability to plan and organize
- High sense of Confidentiality
- Computer software proficiency
- Schedule availability
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of production processes, machinery and equipment (Surface Mount Technologies and automated cells)
- Familiarity with safety procedures and standards
Production Supervisor
Role:
- Plan and organize production.
- Monitor production activities.
- Manage the work team.
- Care for the personnel under their charge, prioritizing their safety.
- Guarantee product quality.
- Maintain continuous communication with their personnel.
- Address discipline and absenteeism problems with the people under their charge.
- Verification of line startup procedures and model changes (Set-up).
- Start the production line.
- Verify and ensure the operational availability of equipment, utilization, and capacity.
- Review scrap reports/sign them.
- Verify personnel attendance to complete lines to run.
Develop / lead projects to improve attendance, scrap, and production compliance metrics.
Lead the multidisciplinary team to achieve the area's goals.
Ensure 5S compliance in the area.
Lead Tier 2 / KPI meetings.
Requirements:
