Job Description

Join the Global HR Systems team at Thales's Vélizy campus, reporting to the Group HR Information Systems Director. You will manage the Workday Compensation Functional Specialist and collaborate internationally. Your role involves product orientation, managing HR campaigns (salary reviews), continuous improvements, and providing functional support to C&B, HRIS, and HR teams. You will work in an agile framework within the 'Compensation' squad.
Must have:
  • Collect and analyze business needs
  • Arbitrate priorities with the Business Process Owner
  • Define and monitor the roadmap
  • Validate configurations and ensure testing strategy
  • Actively monitor Workday evolutions
  • Prepare and manage salary review campaigns (merit, MTI/LTI bonus)
  • Define the calendar and support C&B, HRIS, and HR teams
  • Participate in configuration choices
  • Ensure functional tests
  • Support production launches and promote process adoption
  • Interface with C&B, HRIS, and HR teams for functional requests
  • Qualify priority and track requests via ticketing tool
  • Contribute to Workday release management process
  • Coordinate the HR IT ecosystem
  • Lead monitoring instances and participate in projects impacting systems
  • Bac +5 education with at least 5 years of confirmed experience in HR systems and projects
  • Essential expertise in Workday, especially HCM, Core Compensation, and Advanced Compensation modules
  • Solid experience in functional analysis in an HRIS environment
  • Fluent English

Join us on the Vélizy campus, which hosts a wide variety of activities: aerospace, defense, civil, etc. West of Paris, this site offers a work environment equipped with the latest technological innovations and provides services that help reconcile professional and personal life.

Your daily life

Within the HR department, you will join the "Global HR Systems" team, responsible for defining the functional orientations of Group HR tools excluding payroll (Workday, Cornerstone, Phenom). You will report to the Group HR Information Systems Director and manage the Workday Compensation Functional Specialist.

In an international environment, you will collaborate closely with C&B, IS/IT, Change Management, local HRIS teams, as well as external consultants.

Your main missions:

  • Product orientation: collect and analyze business needs, arbitrate priorities with the Business Process Owner, define and monitor the roadmap, validate configurations and ensure the testing strategy, actively monitor Workday evolutions.
  • HR campaign management: prepare and lead salary review campaigns (merit, MTI/LTI bonus), define the calendar and support C&B, HRIS, and HR teams with support and training actions.
  • Evolutions and continuous improvements: participate in configuration choices, ensure functional tests, support production launches, and promote the adoption of deployed processes.
  • Support and business requests: be the interface for C&B, HRIS, and HR teams for all functional requests, qualify their priority, and ensure follow-up via the ticketing tool.
  • Other activities: contribute to the Workday release management process, coordinate the HR IT ecosystem, animate monitoring instances, and participate in projects impacting systems and products.

You will evolve in an agile framework, within the "Compensation" squad, organizing sprints and prioritizing run activities according to the roadmap and business needs.

Your profile

  • Bac +5 education with confirmed experience of at least 5 years in HR systems and projects.
  • Essential expertise in Workday, particularly the HCM, Core Compensation, and Advanced Compensation modules.
  • Solid experience in functional analysis in an HRIS environment and ideally in the HR function (generalist HR, compensation or social benefits).
  • Curiosity, proactiveness, and ability to influence in an international context.
  • Ease in collaboration and teamwork.
  • Fluent English is essential.
