Job Description

Joining the Hardware & Software Technologies, Tools & Engineering Competence Center teams, you will be responsible for a multi-disciplinary development work package (hardware, firmware, software) and ensure commitments are met in terms of quality, cost, and deadlines. Your main missions include organizing and planning the work package, establishing estimates, defining cost structure, executing the package, monitoring progress, ensuring product quality, managing the team/suppliers, and consolidating feedback.
Must Have:
  • Proven experience in coordinating various technical engineering activities (hardware, firmware, software)
  • Ability to plan, organize teams, and ensure follow-up of engineering projects
  • Good knowledge of subcontract management and work packages
  • Ability to produce synthetic reports and comfortable with complex problem-solving

By joining the Hardware & Software Technologies, Tools & Engineering Competence Center teams, you will take responsibility for a multi-disciplinary development work package (hardware, firmware, software) and ensure that commitments are met in terms of quality, cost, and deadlines. As an Engineering Work Package Manager, your main missions consist of:

  • Organizing and planning a work package by drafting its description, identifying deliverables, milestones, resources, and risks.
  • Establishing estimates based on a viable solution and consistent with the project schedule.
  • Defining the cost structure, supplier selection, and relevant indicators.
  • Executing the work package, identifying and resolving problems, managing risks and opportunities.
  • Monitoring and controlling all work.
  • Ensuring the quality of products and delivered documentation.
  • Managing the team and/or suppliers involved in the execution of the work package and ensuring compliance with all commitments.
  • Consolidating feedback and closing the work package.

Your profile

Are you from an engineering background or equivalent, with proven experience in coordinating various technical engineering activities (hardware, firmware, software)?

Are you recognized for your abilities to plan, organize teams, and ensure the follow-up of engineering projects?

Do you have good knowledge of subcontract management and work packages?

Are you able to produce synthetic reports and are you comfortable with complex problem-solving?
