TransPerfect is seeking an HR Assistant in Seoul to work closely with the HR manager. This role involves handling all HR operational and employee-related tasks across Seoul and other APAC locations, including managing the employment life cycle, absence and leave, terminations, onboarding, relocations, and employee queries regarding rewards and company policies. The assistant will also maintain HRIS data, support performance evaluations, and provide operational support to HR departments.
Must Have:- Be responsible for all aspects of the HR operational tasks and employment life cycle.
- Administer employees’ leave and attendance.
- Handle terminations and submit required documentation to payroll department.
- Partner with recruitment to coordinate employees’ onboarding.
- Handle processes for relocations and transfers including visa applications and payroll transfers.
- Handle employee/manager’s queries relating to rewards issues including benefits, pay, bonus schemes, commissions.
- Have a good understanding and practical knowledge of Company processes and policies.
- Ensure employee data are kept updated on the HRIS (e.g. Workday) and produces relevant reports.
- Ensure changes to the employees’ profiles are properly reported and submitted to payroll.
- Handle complex employee relations issues.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of performance evaluation programs.
- Perform operational support to the HR Departments in different locations.
- Knowledge and understanding of employment law.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving competencies.
- Minimum 2 years Human Resources experience.
- Fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal).
- Prior experience of working with HRIS Software (Workday).
