Job Summary
As an Implementation Consultant Team Lead at Morningstar, you will be an active member of the Technical Operation team, supporting clients in implementing Morningstar’s financial advice software. This role involves providing technical support to both frontline colleagues and clients, creating and structuring onboarding and training plans, and ensuring optimal experience and usage of Morningstar’s technology. You will work with Microsoft Power Platform, manage data migrations, handle CRM, and oversee project execution, contributing to global knowledge in technology and financial services.
Must Have
- Create technical solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Support clients and internal teams in transitioning existing business to Morningstar software.
- Assist clients in migrating their data from legacy software providers.
- Manage CRM data to ensure client information is up-to-date.
- Track new implementations to ensure timely execution through to BAU.
- Work with internal project managers/development staff to test and execute new releases.
- Support clients in the early adoption phase of Morningstar’s solutions.
- Provide high-quality training and education to client back-office teams.
- Possess proven successful technical implementation skills.
- Demonstrate project management skills and a continuous improvement mind-set.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) to a range of stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
- Ability to multitask, handle ambiguity, and prioritize multiple implementations concurrently.
- Proven record of ability to negotiate resolutions to complex issues and define project scope.
- Comfortable working in an agile environment, adopting a consultative and cooperative approach.

Title: Implementation Consultant Team Lead
Shift: General
As Implementation Consultant Team Lead, you will be an active member of Morningstar’s Technical Operation team. You will work closely with our Support Team, Customer Success and Onboarding team to support our clients in implementing Morningstar’s award-winning financial advice software.
The ideal candidate must possess a willingness and ability to learn the in-house software systems and be able to create and structure on-boarding and training plans in a clear and effective way to clients. The key to the role is to offer technical support to both frontline colleagues and clients to achieve the best experience and usage from Morningstar’s technology.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Technical Solution – focus on Microsoft power platform (Dynamics 365, Power Automate, Power BI etc.) to create solutions to achieve client’s business need. Create reports and templates to generate investor facing documents.
- Transitions – support our clients and internal teams (via development and education) to transition existing business from other software to Morningstar.
- Data migration – support our clients in migrating their data from legacy software providers to Morningstar’s software.
- CRM management – ensure the data on our clients is up to date allowing for easy engagement and a centralized overview of our clients.
- Project management – track new implementations to ensure timely execution through to BAU, alongside working with internal project managers/development staff to test and execute new releases.
- New client onboarding – work with client onboarding team to support our clients in the early adoption phase of Morningstar’s solutions to ensure they have a positive and successful experience of Morningstar’s technology. In doing so, identify challenges, problem solve and create a suitable transition roadmap for the client.
- Training and education of clients – provide high-quality training & education (both initial and ongoing) to ensure client back-office teams have a superior understanding of the systems and the efficiencies that can be gained. Proactively identify and action opportunities in order to further enhance use of the system. These sessions will be delivered either face-to-face, or remotely using web-based tools.
Experience, qualifications and attributes:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be highly recommended.
- Experience with CRM, Data analysis, Data migration, Template will be a plus.
- An understanding of the financial advice process will be a plus.
- Proven successful technical implementation skills.
- A motivated self-starter with service experience.
- Project management skills and a continuous improvement mind-set.
