Senior Integrations Engineer (Contract to Hire)

Sully.ai is building an AutonomousOS for healthcare, aiming to create "superhuman doctors" by eliminating distractions and aiding in patient treatment navigation. Their mission is "One Human, One Doctor," deploying AI teammates (scribes, nurses, receptionists, translators) powered by world-class models. They have significant traction with over 450 organizations, 5M+ clinical tasks completed, and $25M raised. The Senior Integrations Engineer will partner with co-founders to define integration strategy, work with customers to gather requirements, and collaborate with AI/ML engineers to deploy intelligent automation in real-world care.

Must Have

• Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
• Proven experience integrating with multiple EHR systems across SMB and enterprise environments.
• Hands-on work with FHIR, HL7, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and hybrid/on-prem systems.
• Experience building with RPA frameworks (Selenium or similar).
• Background in customer-facing engineering roles, gathering requirements and translating them into technical deliverables.

Sully requires A-players capable of 4 months = 1 year output.

This role is structured as a Contract-to-Hire position with a 60-day trial period. Sully.ai maintains an exceptionally high performance bar, and this structure ensures mutual alignment before transitioning to full-time.

What You'll Do:

• Partner closely with co-founders to set integration strategy and make build vs. buy decisions.
• Work directly with customers to gather requirements, define workflows, and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to bridge integrations with applied GenAI systems, ensuring real-world deployment of intelligent automation.

What you Must Bring:

• Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
• Proven experience integrating with multiple EHR systems across SMB and enterprise environments.
• Hands-on work with FHIR, HL7, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and hybrid/on-prem systems.

• Background in customer-facing engineering roles, gathering requirements and translating them into technical deliverables.

First-Month Focus

• Audit current integrations, reliability, and security posture.
• Finalize a 12-month integration roadmap and target list across EHRs and partner APIs.
• Ship an SDK and sample app MVP for partner onboarding.

Success OKRs (90 Days)

• Migrate 3 legacy integrations to the EHR Proxy.
• Reach 100% automated test coverage for all integrations behind the EHR proxies.
• Ensure reusability across all integration projects to deduce engineering rework by 50%.
