The role also requires building a numerical monitoring system and conducting data analysis to optimize core game experience and balance.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in successfully launched and operated MMO/ARPG projects

Must Have:

  • Led economic system or growth numerical module design for at least one ARPG/MMO game
  • Familiarity with transactional economic structures
  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, or Python for data modeling (e.g., economic simulation, attribute calculation)
  • Solid foundation in mathematics and statistics (e.g., probability theory, economics)
  • Ability to theoretically prove the rationality of numerical models
  • At least 300+ hours of experience playing 'search, fight, retreat' games
  • Strong grasp of core 'search, fight, retreat' gameplay elements

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for building the numerical framework for in-game progression lines and economic production-sales cycles, including resource output, consumption, transaction balance, and long-term inflation control.

2. Design level difficulty curves and equipment system values, combine with "search, fight, retreat" gameplay (e.g., resource search - combat - retreat cycle) to formulate dynamic economic rules, ensuring a reasonable match between risk and reward.

3. Collaborate with combat, system, and level planners to participate in the numerical design and adjustment of various gameplay modules (e.g., equipment attribute balance, enemy strength calibration), driving core experience optimization through modeling and test data.

4. Establish a numerical monitoring system, conduct continuous data analysis on economic modules (e.g., resource flow efficiency, player stratification behavior), and formulate balance adjustment strategies.

Job Requirements

1. 3+ years of game numerical planning experience, having led the design of the economic system or growth numerical module for at least one ARPG/MMO game, familiar with transactional economic structures.

2. Proficient in tools like Excel, VBA, or Python, capable of independently building data models (e.g., economic production and sales simulation, attribute formula calculation), and scripting skills in VBA/LUA are a plus.

3. Solid foundation in mathematics and statistics (e.g., probability theory, economics), capable of theoretically proving the rationality of numerical models.

4. At least 300+ hours of experience playing "search, fight, retreat" games, and a good grasp of the core points of "search, fight, retreat" gameplay.

Bonus points

1. Experience in successfully launched and operated MMO/ARPG projects, especially familiar with the economic design of "search, fight, retreat" games is a plus.

2. Deep understanding of MMO/ARPG genres, capable of analyzing their equipment growth and resource cycle design logic is better.

3. Educational background in statistics or economics.
