This internship at Glamour Germany offers insights into editorial work, including participation in news conferences, research for articles, creating own text contributions for the website, and active involvement in the preparation and production of fashion shoots for the print magazine. Interns will also assist the fashion team with prop management and administrative tasks.
Must have:
  • Participate in editorial daily routine and news/topic conferences.

  • Assist the fashion team with prop management (in/out).
  • Assist editors with pre- and post-production of shoots and administrative tasks.
  • Enrolled student at a fashion school/university for a mandatory internship.
  • Excellent German and very good English language skills.

  • Strong interest in fashion and fashion journalism.
  • Initial experience in the industry, ideally online journalism.
  • Strong affinity for text & online, interest in social media, cross-media thinking.
  • Creativity and organizational talent.

Glamour Germany is looking for an intern (all genders welcome) in the Fashion Editorial department as soon as possible, for a mandatory university internship lasting 3 months.

THESE TASKS AWAIT YOU:

  • You will be integrated into the daily editorial routine and participate in news and topic conferences.
  • You will support the fashion team with research for articles and gradually create your own text contributions for our website.
  • You will actively participate in the preparation and production of fashion shoots for our print magazine, which is published four times a year.
  • You will help the fashion team in the prop department with the handling of incoming and outgoing items.
  • You will assist our editors with the pre- and post-production of shoots and relieve the department in all administrative areas.

THIS IS WHAT DISTINGUISHES YOU:

  • You are an enrolled student at a fashion school/university and want to gain professional experience in our media house as part of a mandatory internship.
  • You have a strong interest in fashion and fashion journalism and have already gained initial experience in the industry (ideally in online journalism).
  • Strong affinity for text & online, strong interest in social media, and enjoyment of cross-media thinking.
  • Excellent German language skills in spoken and written form and very good English language skills.
  • Creativity and talent for organizational tasks.
