Job Description

We are seeking a creative Junior Copywriter to join CNCC’s copy team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious writer to develop their craft within a fast-paced creative studio environment. You will help bring branded content campaigns to life through compelling copy that reflects both Condé Nast’s editorial excellence and our clients’ brand voices. Reporting to the Copy Lead, you will work closely with editors, designers, strategists, sales, project managers, and commercial partners to deliver engaging, on-brand content across digital, print, social, video, and events.
Must have:
  • Write and edit clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for various platforms.
  • Join brainstorming sessions and ideate campaign concepts.
  • Become an expert in tone and voice for multiple Condé brands.
  • Ensure all written work attributed to CNCC content is of the highest standard.
  • Experience as a copywriter/commercial editor in a commercial/editorial environment.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills across long-form and social content.
  • Broad knowledge of social platform functionality.
  • Ability to adapt tone of voice across lifestyle and luxury categories.
  • Excellent understanding of client requirements in commercially funded content.
  • Understanding of digital and social media platforms and engagement drivers.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for compelling ideas.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable with multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Edit commissioned content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Stay up to date with content marketing trends and best practices.

The Role

We are seeking a creative Junior Copywriter to join CNCC’s copy team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious writer to develop their craft within a fast-paced creative studio environment. You will help bring branded content campaigns to life through compelling copy that reflects both Condé Nast’s editorial excellence and our clients’ brand voices.

Reporting to the Copy Lead, you will work closely with editors, designers, strategists, sales, project managers, and commercial partners to deliver engaging, on-brand content across digital, print, social, video, and events.

You will write and edit across all branded content within Condé Nast Britain. You will be as adept at writing a solus email for Vogue on a new fashion brand as a destination feature for a tourist board on cntraveller.com. You’ll love social media and will find yourself writing a series of Instagram posts for House & Garden_ one day and writing a dynamic script for a TikTok the next. You’ll love ideation and will be bursting with ideas when it comes to interpreting a brief. You’ll love writing compelling copy that is on brand for Condé Nast titles whilst cleverly integrating a brand’s story. You will also contribute to shaping moodboards, pitches and presentations with the design and strategy teams within CNCC.

What will you be doing?

  • Write and edit clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for a variety of platforms, including digital articles, social posts, video scripts, event collateral, and print features.
  • Join brainstorming sessions with the strategy team and ideate campaign concepts that meet client objectives while reflecting Condé Nast’s premium editorial standards.
  • Become an expert in tone and voice to align with multiple Condé brands
  • Commission external writers as needed
  • Edit commissioned content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with house style
  • Ensure all written work attributed to CNCC content is of the highest standard
  • Stay up to date with content marketing trends, digital storytelling, and branded content best practices
  • Bring passion for new creative thinking and bold ideas to our team
  • Champion brave and innovative ideas in solving our clients’ problems

About you:

  • Experience working as a copywriter/commercial editor in a commercial/editorial environment across digital, print and social platforms
  • Excellent writing and editing skills across long-form and social content
  • A broad knowledge of social platform functionality
  • Ability to adapt tone of voice across a range of lifestyle and luxury categories (e.g., fashion, beauty, travel, tech, food & drink).
  • Excellent understanding of client requirements in commercially funded print, digital, social and video content
  • Understanding of digital and social media platforms, with awareness of what drives engagement
  • A creative thinker with an eye for compelling ideas and the confidence to contribute to brainstorms
  • Strong interest in fashion, beauty, culture, travel, lifestyle, homes
  • Passionate about Condé Nast’s brands
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
