As an Intern: Product Validation Engineering - Verisium Debug, you will be part of the Verisium Debug Team in the VFS group in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. You will collaborate with developers and product experts to write test plans, help test new features and report bugs, work with the team to implement automated tests, and support and investigate failures and debug issues. Cadence is a fast-paced, dynamic environment working with teams worldwide.
Must have:
  • Currently studying for a bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
  • Expected graduation date around mid-2027.
  • Object-oriented programming interest.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
Good to have:
  • Developing software
  • Version controls systems
  • Scripting environments - shell and/or Python.
  • Unix environment.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with developers and product experts to write test plans
  • Help testing new features and report bugs
  • Work with the team to implement automated tests
  • Support and make regression investigation of failures and debug issues

Requirements:

  • Currently studying for a bachelor’s in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • Expected graduation date around mid-2027.
  • Object-oriented programming interest.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

Basic understanding or University knowledge and contact with any of these:

  • Developing software
  • Version controls systems
  • Scripting environments - shell and/or Python.
  • Unix environment.
