Intern - Project Engineer

This internship at Western Digital involves supporting ET&A Engineers in daily project management activities for new production lines and process improvement initiatives. The intern will assist with data collection, analysis, and report preparation, participate in team meetings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role focuses on enhancing process efficiency and optimization within the Engineering business function.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Support ET&A Engineers in daily project management activities related to new production lines and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports for ongoing projects.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance process efficiency and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing Engineering, Process, EHS, and others.
• Prepare project documentation, presentations, and other required materials to support project deliverables.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

SKILLS:

• Strong interest in equipment technology, automation, and project management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
