Job Summary

This role involves developing, deploying, and governing a standard Production Management System globally within Backend operations, focusing on scheduling, dispatching, performance measurement, and shop-floor control. The specialist will optimize WIP flow, synchronize 4M (Machines, Man, Material, Methods), and improve Cycle Time and Utilization to achieve productivity goals. Key responsibilities include leading ES production reporting, benchmarking, and driving Lean initiatives for best-in-class time to market.

Must Have

  • Deep knowledge and 5+ years experience in Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, WIP flow management, and Production Management systems.
  • Ability to develop and deploy optimized Engineering Sample WIP flow Management approaches.
  • Lead & standardize Backend ES production reporting & monitoring control system.
  • Lead & drive BE Site ES team for ES benchmarking, Lean, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen initiatives.
  • Orchestrate yearly target setting for production speed performance indicators (Flow Factor, ES CT).
  • Proficiency in Data ETL, data analysis, and data visualization (Tableau).
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Specific experience managing Engineering Samples (ES) or New Product Introduction workflows.
  • Experience driving global initiatives and acting as a Project Manager.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems like SAP and shop-floor control methods.

Job Description

Develop, Deploy and Govern the Standard Production Management System includes Scheduling, Dispatching, Production performance measurement, Production reports and Shop-floor control methods within Backend globally. Systemize and deploy the optimized WIP flow Management methodologies, drive 4 partners (Machines, Man, Material and Methods) synchronization, optimization of Cycle time and Utilization to contribute to the BE year-on-year productivity goal.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Possess deep knowledge with more than 5years experience in Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, WIP flow management and Production Management system.
  • Develop, systemize and deploy optimized Engineering Sample WIP flow Management approaches to drive 4M (Machines, Man, Material and Methods) synchronization and contribute to the BE's T2M Goal.
  • Lead & standardize BE ES production reporting & monitoring control system, be the key interface to Site ES & CSC, Factory Integration/IT team as Project Manager.
  • Lead & drive BE Site ES team for ES benchmarking, Lean, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen initiatives to achieve best-in-class time to market.
  • Orchestrate yearly target setting with all sites & DIV globally for key production speed performance indicators like Flow Factor, ES CT.
  • Responsible to perform Data ETL (Extract-Transform-Load), data analysis & data visualization (Tableau) for Engineering Sample Benchmarking and Improvement Analysis.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline with experience of 5 years of hands-on experience in Industrial Engineering (IE), WIP flow management, and Production Management Systems, preferably within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Expert in Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement:
  • Deep practical knowledge of Lean methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, and 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) synchronization.
  • Proven track record of optimizing key performance indicators such as Cycle Time (CT), Flow Factor, and Utilization rates to achieve productivity and Time-to-Market (T2M) goals.
  • Specialized Experience in Engineering Samples (ES) / NPI:
  • Unlike standard mass production, the candidate must have specific experience managing Engineering Samples (ES) or New Product Introduction workflows.
  • Ability to develop and deploy optimized WIP flow specifically for the unique constraints of engineering samples within Backend (BE) manufacturing.
  • Strong Data Analytics & Visualization Skills:
  • Technical proficiency in Data ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) processes to manage complex datasets.
  • Hands-on expertise with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau, to create dashboards for benchmarking and improvement analysis.
  • Global Project Management & Leadership:
  • Experience driving global initiatives and acting as the key interface between Backend sites, IT/Factory Integration teams, and supply chain.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead as a Project Manager in a cross-functional, global setting.
  • Systems Proficiency & Strategic Mindset:
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems like SAP and shop-floor control methods.
  • A forward-thinking mindset capable not just of maintaining current systems, but of governing and sustaining process changes that account for future manufacturing landscapes and requirements.
