Job Summary
This Staff Specialist Resource Planning role at Infineon in Melaka, Malaysia, focuses on end-to-end resource planning for the SON module within semiconductor manufacturing. Must Have

- Demonstrate systemic thinking for resource optimization
- Degree in Business, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing, operations planning, or industrial engineering
- Preferably 1-2 years experience in a resource planning role
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and file linkage
- Good interpersonal skills

Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Accountable and responsible for VRFC, TCR, LTCR, and Min/Max capacity planning of the module according to timelines to achieve mid- to long-term sustainable and profitable module/segment growth.
- Accountable and responsible for preparing CP investments for capacity ramp-up of the module to meet committed capacity ramp timelines.
- Accountable and responsible for preparing CP investments for capacity ramp-up of the module at the Melaka plant to meet committed capacity ramp timelines, division demand fulfillment, and revenue targets.
- Key interface with Operations to support capacity planning and reporting, ensuring capacity balancing and alignment with committed capacity to meet TCR cost and sustain growth.
- Key interface with DIV SCP/CAP/CALP coordinators on module demand and/or capacity planning to achieve capacity ramp-up, balancing, and optimization to meet division revenue targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define problem statements and propose solutions to complex issues. Demonstrates analytical skills and systemic thinking to evaluate and resolve capacity and resource optimization challenges to meet Melaka cost and division Demand-to-Revenue (DtR) targets.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Degree in Business, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, particularly in operations planning and/or industrial engineering.
- Preferably at least 1–2 years of experience in a resource planning role.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and file linkage to enable OPC RP peers to execute TCR, LTCR, and monthly, weekly, and daily reporting efficiently and effectively. Supports digitalization initiatives.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
