Job Summary
Larian Studios, an award-winning developer of high-quality role-playing games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2, is seeking a Senior HR Generalist. This role involves supporting the team in crafting high-calibre games by developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, overseeing compensation and benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws, contributing to a positive work environment as the studio embarks on new projects.
Must Have
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and initiatives aligned with Larian’s environment, goals, and ethos.
- Develop and implement HR systems and procedures across the organisation.
- Maintain accurate employee records, update HR databases, and generate reports related to employee demographics, turnover, and other HR metrics.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Assist in conducting compensation and benefits analyses and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Manage the employee experience throughout the employee life cycle.
- Assist in implementing and managing performance appraisal systems, ensuring strategies and processes remain aligned with talent management and workforce plans.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- Assess training needs and apply and monitor training programmes.
- Participate in various HR projects, including organisational restructuring, process improvements, and HR software implementations.

Requirements
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and initiatives aligned with Larian’s environment, goals, and ethos. Ensure policies are communicated effectively to employees and applied consistently across the organisation.
- HR Systems: Develop and implement HR systems and procedures across the organisation.
- HR Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records, update HR databases, and generate reports related to employee demographics, turnover, and other HR metrics to support business decision-making.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, grievances, and conflict resolution. Help ensure a positive work environment and address any concerns or disputes that arise.
- Benefits and Compensation: Assist in conducting compensation and benefits analyses and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Employee Life Cycle: Manage the employee experience throughout the employee life cycle.

Requirements
- Proven working experience as an HR Generalist
- People-oriented and results-driven
- Up-to-date understanding of current pay rates, benefits, and industry trends
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Experience working in fast-growing companies and creative industries
- Demonstrable ability to own, execute, and deliver on short- and long-term projects.
- This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration
