Job Summary

Job Description

As an International Account Manager at Kluwer Law International (part of Wolters Kluwer's Legal & Regulatory division), you are responsible for growth within the existing global customer base. You ensure contract renewals, generate upsell opportunities, and achieve growth by closing multi-year contracts and implementing price increases. You are part of a dynamic and multicultural sales team and report directly to the director of international sales.
Must have:
  • Actively seek new sales opportunities within your global territory.
  • Responsible for the entire sales process and achieving revenue targets.
  • Daily customer contact to better understand customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close profitable deals.
  • Build trust relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analyze results and customers using relevant KPIs.
  • Use modern tools such as Outreach.io, Gong, SalesIntel, AI, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Maintain administration in CRM system Salesforce according to guidelines.
  • Expand network to support growth.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by your manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar, or equivalent experience.
  • Native Dutch and fluent English, both oral and written.
  • Proven experience in achieving targets.
  • Strong networking and deal-closing skills.
  • Experience with contract negotiations and influencing decisions.
  • Ability to work independently within a territory and utilize sales tools.
  • Able to effectively convey product value.
  • Knowledge of business operations, finance, products, and a specific market.
  • Good social skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external parties.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (approximately 10%) for conferences, team meetings, or customer visits.
Good to have:
  • A third language is definitely a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Outreach, and Gong (or similar tools).
  • Experience in international SaaS or cloud sales environments.
  • Eager to learn and interested in new technologies such as AI.
  • Knowledge of or experience with BANT, Challenger sale/Insight selling, and JOLT.

Job requirements
