Job Description

Joining Thales in Meyreuil, near Aix-en-Provence, you will be part of a site that brings together all integrated circuit design activities for digital identity and security. Within the Thales Silicon Security division, you will join the Product Engineering team responsible for testing and qualifying platforms in the security domain. The performance of non-volatile memory is an important aspect of ASIC quality. In this context, we aim to automate the analysis of non-volatile memory test results. You will develop and implement a topological representation of non-volatile memory using Nextest ATE resources, and develop data extraction and Weibull representation tools to evaluate non-volatile memory performance.
Good To Have:
  • CPU programming
  • ASIC & SOC product testing
Must Have:
  • Develop and implement a topological representation of non-volatile memory using Nextest ATE tester resources.
  • Develop data extraction and Weibull representation tools to evaluate non-volatile memory performance.
  • Control an ATE tester for measuring non-volatile memory cell currents.
  • Develop the topological representation algorithm using ATE tester resources.
  • Validate the use of topological representation on concrete application cases.
  • Develop a data extraction tool for non-volatile memory performance evaluation during production monitoring.
  • Define the output format in compliance with analysis tools (e.g., Weibull representation).
  • Bac+5 level internship (mandatory) for 3 to 5 months in the IT field.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python programming.
Perks:
  • Technological expertise
  • Attention to employee work-life balance
  • Inclusive and benevolent environment
  • Recognized societal and environmental commitment (Thales Solidarity, CAC 40 ESG index…)
  • All internships are conventional and subject to remuneration determined by your level of study.

Our commitments, your benefits

  • Our technological expertise
  • Our attention to employee balance
  • An inclusive and benevolent environment
  • Recognized societal and environmental commitment (Thales Solidarity, CAC 40 ESG index…)

Your daily life

By joining us, you will be part of a site that brings together all integrated circuit design activities for digital identity and security.

Within the Thales Silicon Security division, you will join the Product Engineering team responsible for testing and qualifying platforms in the security domain. The performance of non-volatile memory is an important aspect of ASIC quality. During qualification and production phases, compliance with specifications and evaluation of key non-volatile memory parameters are verified. In this context, we wish to automate the analysis of non-volatile memory test results.

In conjunction with the design, product engineering, software, and quality teams, your mission is to:

  • Develop and implement a topological representation of non-volatile memory using Nextest ATE tester resources.
  • Develop data extraction and Weibull representation tools to evaluate non-volatile memory performance.

To do this, you will:

  • control an ATE tester for measuring non-volatile memory cell currents
  • develop the topological representation algorithm using ATE tester resources
  • validate the use of topological representation on concrete application cases
  • develop a data extraction tool for non-volatile memory performance evaluation during production monitoring
  • define the output format in compliance with analysis tools (e.g., Weibull representation)

This mission will allow you to familiarize yourself with test developments, CPU programming, the use of statistical analysis tools, and non-volatile memory architecture.

Your profile:

Your priority is to obtain a Bac+5 level internship (mandatory) for a duration of 3 to 5 months in the IT field.

You have skills in:

- C/C++, Python programming

Plus points: CPU programming, ASIC & SOC product testing

Your communication, innovation, tenacity, passion, ambition, and curiosity are assets that are recognized in you!

All our internships are conventional and subject to remuneration, the amount of which is determined according to your level of study.

Thales, a Handi-Engaged company, recognizes all talents. Diversity is our best asset. Apply and join us!
