Thales Avionics, Training & Simulation division, is responsible for designing and producing training resources for civil and military domains:

• flight simulators (plane, helicopter),
• technical training resources for combatants (shooting precision, weapon and equipment handling, tactics, ...)

Our objective is to offer training resources that meet customer needs, at the best cost and deadlines. Our field is very competitive, requiring innovative solutions, necessitating upstream study projects, particularly on electronic, embedded software, and micro-mechanical subjects.

Within the electronic design office, you will be able to imagine and design software / graphical interfaces allowing to control electronic equipment.

Your missions:

Within the hardware engineering department of Thales AVS Training & Simulation Domain, in Osny, you will be integrated into the young and dynamic team of the Electronic Design Office.

You will develop software for the control, testing, and supervision of electronic equipment, with a User Friendly vision for the end-user.

Your profile:

Are you a BAC+5 engineer looking for a 6-month internship in the field of embedded software?

Required skills:

Autonomy, Interest in software development, with a sensitivity for electronics.

C/C++ / Qt (dominant)

JavaScript / NodeJs / AngularJs (alternative)

We are looking for an intern who demonstrates creativity and curiosity, with a strong interest in new technologies. Autonomy is essential, as is the ability to learn autodidactically. You will be required to communicate effectively with the design teams, clearly sharing objectives and expected and obtained results. Finally, you will know how to seek out the necessary information to successfully complete your missions.
