Our commitments, your advantages
------------------------------------
- Our technological expertise
- Our attention to employee work-life balance
- An inclusive and benevolent environment
- Recognized societal and environmental commitment (Thales Solidarity, CAC 40 ESG index, etc.)
Your daily life
-------------------
Our Barp site, located between Bordeaux and Arcachon, specializes in the development, integration, and Operational Maintenance of systems and equipment generating or amplifying very high-power signals.
Within the GenF engineering team, you will work on the development of the digital twin of the inertial confinement fusion reactor. The construction of such a system requires a rigorous elaboration of model engineering, both on the specification part (MBSE) and on the development of the system code.
This work can take several forms:
- Develop new elementary bricks in the model, particularly focused on the development of a cost model,
- Interfacing the system code with our MBSE tools
The creation of a cost model relies on published or private data obtained with our partners or industrial collaborations.
In this context, you will be led to work in close collaboration with our system engineer as well as the various technical departments.
Your profile:
-------------
Your priority is to obtain a bac+4 level internship from a generalist training in the field of energy engineering, industrial economics, applied mathematics/statistics, or programming.
You have experience in:
- Python
Knowledge of the GIT programming language is appreciated in the context of managing modifications made to the project.
Are your curiosity, sense of service, and good interpersonal skills recognized assets?
Then this position is for you!
A word from the team:
--------------------
This internship offers you the opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project in a dynamic and innovative environment, at the heart of inertial confinement fusion technologies.
The desired location is Le Barp (Gironde). It is necessary to have a vehicle to get to the site.
All our internships are conventional and subject to a gratification whose amount is determined according to your level of study.
Thales, a Handi-Engagée company, recognizes all talents. Diversity is our best asset. Apply and join us!
