We are opening a new office and are seeking an individual to provide onsite technical support and ensure smooth IT operations. This is a hands-on role where you will be the first point of contact for IT needs, supporting both local and global teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide onsite IT support for our office, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, and peripherals for employees.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies via Microsoft Active Directory / Azure AD.
- Support collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams, and Outlook.
- Configure and maintain office network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls).
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth IT setup for new hires
- Monitor and manage IT asset inventory for the office.
- Partner with the global IT team to align with company-wide standards and security practices.
Required qualifications:
- Proven hands-on IT support or systems administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently in a small-office/startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of office networking (Wi-Fi, VPN) and ability to coordinate with vendors/global IT for advanced issues.
- Experience supporting AV/meeting room setups.
- Prior experience in a global or distributed company.
