To maintain and establish growth of current customer base and Customer Service in support of new business opportunities that directly contribute to organization revenue growth objectives through the implementation of bioMérieux molecular and microbiology systems. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution and closing of projects through the monitoring and controlling of project related activities.
1. Drive implementation projects to completion for bioMérieux Advanced Analytics, molecular, and microbiology systems.
2. Establish and manage critical IT pre-sales calls to review customers IT Security and Networking requirements as well as to position available bioMérieux options to meet customers’ IT needs.
3. Facilitate direct communication with major stakeholders throughout the project cycle to ensure deadlines are met and Installation to Go Live expectations are achieved.
4. Integrate into client environment to effectively lead project teams while building positive professional relationships with clients and associates.
5. Gather, formulate, and escalate feedback from customers’ IT Security requirements or market inputs to IT Security Project Manager.
6. Lead risk management within projects, ensuring risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
7. Maintain authority and control of projects while ensuring accountability of all stakeholders.
8. Manage projects within established scope, schedule, and budget while meeting and exceeding project management standards.
9. Develop strategy and individual responsibilities to assist sales with the close of all High Value targets.
10. Develop and drive integrated project plans, aligning project tactics with project strategy.
11. Support project management team members to ensure success of projects while maintaining customer service focus.
12. Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
1. 3 - 5 years’ experience project management required; in healthcare or IT setting preferred.
2. Project Management certification is preferred or a minimum of 3-5 years previous experience managing IT related projects.
3. Experience in analyzing customers' business needs and Laboratory product/system integration objectives to coordinate and manage the delivery of IT solutions to meet customers' needs.
4. Experience in following, maintaining, and improving the implementation methodology.
1. Must be fluent in English with excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
2. Must be able to work independently, effectively multitask to meet deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
3. Proficient in project management software tools.
4. Exhibit good interpersonal and diplomacy skills, excellent verbal, and written capabilities through previous experiences such as teaching, sales, or management.
5. Exhibit good decision-making ability, including problem resolution.
6. Employs the expertise of others and provides expertise in a team environment.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) products.
