Wolters Kluwer Italia is seeking an IT Operations Analyst for its Tax & Accounting division's TECHNOLOGY function. This role focuses on ensuring the health and security of Customer Facing Applications. Key responsibilities include monitoring public and private cloud infrastructure, analyzing system performance and costs, managing major incidents, supporting maintenance and security, and actively contributing to the DevOps transformation by collaborating with development teams on activities like hotfix management and release pipelines.
Must have:
  • Monitor all infrastructure components (Public and Private Cloud).
  • Define KPIs, monitoring logic, and related automatisms.
  • Analyze infrastructure component sizing and usage.
  • Manage Major Incident processes for cloud products.
  • Support maintenance and Security & Compliance activities.
  • Contribute to the "DevOps" transformation process.
  • Availability to work in shifts (8:00 – 19:00), on call, or scheduled interventions outside working hours.
  • Strong dynamism, proactivity, and leadership with a passion for technology.
Good to have:
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., MS Azure).
  • Knowledge of a scripting language (Bash, Python).
  • Previous experience in operations and/or system administrator roles.
  • Good knowledge of English (>B1).

Wolters Kluwer Italia, a leading player in the development of software applications for professionals and businesses, is looking for a profile for the TECHNOLOGY function of the Tax & Accounting division

IT OPERATIONS ANALYST

Specifically, the resource will be inserted into the IT Operations structure, whose task is to ensure constant control of the health and security status of the Customer Facing Applications offered by the Tax&Accounting Italy Division of Wolters Kluwer.

The role of IT Operations Analyst includes the following activities:

  • Monitor all infrastructure components (both on Public and Private Cloud), contributing to the definition of reference KPIs, monitoring logic, and related automatisms.
  • Perform analysis on the sizing and use of infrastructure components, acting proactively to improve the health of systems, performance, and costs.
  • Manage the Major Incident management process related to our cloud products, participating, as a 1st level, also in the anomaly resolution process.
  • Support the team in system maintenance and Security & Compliance activities, according to defined standards.
  • Actively contribute to the "DevOps" transformation process of the structure, collaborating with development teams in acquiring skills and activities (e.g., hotfix management, release pipelines, etc.).

The ideal candidate has the following requirements:

  • Diploma or degree, preferably in Engineering, Information Sciences, or other technical-scientific disciplines;
  • At least one year of experience on Microsoft Azure cloud;
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems;
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems;
  • Basic knowledge of Networking;
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases (mainly MS SQL);
  • Availability to work in shifts (limited to the 8:00 – 19:00 time slot), to be on call and/or perform scheduled interventions outside working hours;
  • The profile is completed by strong dynamism, proactivity, and leadership skills, with a strong passion for technology and innovation.

Preferential title:

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., MS Azure);
  • Knowledge of a scripting language (Bash, Python);
  • Previous experience and expertise in operations and/or system administrator roles;
  • A good knowledge of English (>B1), as participation in conference calls in English and reading/writing documentation in English may be required.
