The role of IT Project Manager for Cyber Security is a technical business-minded information technology professional who works with various levels of the organization to manage the Global Information Security (GIS) program and projects, monitor operations, and improve transparency. You’ll work to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of complex projects within the GIS Program, and have a strong sense of ownership, pride, and accountability. You will be responsible for end-to-end quality of what is released. You will be able to identify unaddressed issues, work on solutions, or find the appropriate owner to ensure only high-quality deliverables are produced. The ideal candidate will possess expert relationship management, communication, and organizational skills, have executive presence, and be readily equipped to provide hands-on oversight to numerous complex global work efforts to ensure business value is realized.
What You'll Do
- Build trusted relationships within GIS, IT, and across various business stakeholders to ensure clear project charters, collaborative delivery, and shared accountability.
- Exhibit expertise in project methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scaled Agile, Hybrid, etc.), tailoring approach to each project.
- Generate insightful reporting and dashboards for GIS and IT stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with the various stakeholders to define project goals, charter, objectives, scope, and requirements.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and potential risks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including status reports, change requests, and meeting minutes. Provide regular status updates and progress reports to stakeholders and management.
- Aggressively manage risk mitigation, remediation, and contingency strategies.
- Identify unaddressed issues, work on solutions, or find the appropriate owner to ensure only high-quality deliverables are produced.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Project Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- PMP, Agile, Security, and Network Certifications preferred.
- 10 years of program and project management experience preferred, utilizing multiple project methodologies including Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile.
- Strong management skills: Resilience, sense of urgency, calm under pressure, committed, influencing skills, interpersonal skills, ownership/accountability, flexibility.
- Experience with driving and managing virtual teams in a fast-paced international environment.
- Located in Las Vegas with ability to work flexible hours with stakeholders located across multiple time zones.
