The Jira Service Desk Operations Coordinator will support the Employee & Workplace Experience (EWX) team by managing service desk inquiries and hotel accommodations for offsite events. This fully remote role involves ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, assisting with hotel rooming logistics, and handling employee requests efficiently. The coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to provide a seamless employee experience. Responsibilities include managing Jira Service Desk requests, supporting general operations, coordinating hotel rooming logistics, liaising with stakeholders and vendors, delivering first-class employee support, and maintaining knowledge resources. The ideal candidate should have experience in operational support, event coordination, hotel room block management, or travel logistics.

We’re hiring a Jira Service Desk Operations Coordinator to support the Employee & Workplace Experience (EWX) team at a leading global organization. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to help deliver a seamless, high-touch experience for employees by managing service desk inquiries and hotel accommodations related to offsite events.

As the Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing support with hotel rooming logistics, and handling employee requests with care and efficiency. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure the employee journey is professional, streamlined, and enjoyable from start to finish.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage Jira Service Desk requests: Serve as the main point of contact for EWX inquiries, escalating issues as needed and maintaining documentation of standard processes.

  • Support general operations: Assist with employee events, experience enhancements, and day-to-day logistics across the EWX program.

  • Coordinate hotel rooming logistics: Manage hotel room block availability and employee requests, serving as the go-to person for reservation changes and last-minute updates.

  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors: Work closely with hotel partners and internal teams to ensure accurate rooming lists and smooth check-in experiences.

  • Deliver first-class employee support: Provide responsive and thoughtful communication to employees navigating RSVP and lodging logistics.

  • Maintain knowledge resources: Create and update documentation and FAQs to help the People Operations team support common employee lodging inquiries.


Requirements:

  • Experience in operational support, event coordination, hotel room block management, or travel logistics.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage complex processes and changes under pressure.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service mindset.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

  • Proficiency in Jira, Slack, Google Workspace, and other project management tools.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
