Objectives
- As a Junior Accountant, you will be tasked with managing account entries, documents, payments, and finances for the company
- You may supervise administrative and other accounting staff, but your primary responsibility is handling and recording internal financial transactions as well as financial transactions with the company’s clients and affiliates
What you will do
- Review, collect payment documents, and follow up on the payment process
- Issue invoices, and monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks using accounting software, including data input record day-to-day bank transactions
- Maintain business documentation and records
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations (such as VAT, FCT, CIT...)
- Participate in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Assist with audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by the line manager
