Join eBay's AML Compliance team as a Junior AML Analyst in Luxembourg. Must Have

  • 2+ years of experience in AML Compliance in Luxembourg
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with senior leaders and colleagues
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities and working independently with mentorship
  • Experience working with a range of collaborators in a timely and collaborative manner
  • Ability to review potentially suspicious seller activity and evaluate it according to AML requirements
  • Ability to prepare and draft SARs/STRs for submission to the Financial Intelligence Unit
  • Ability to assume responsibility for assigned investigations to ensure timely completion according to established SLAs
  • Ability to maintain clear documentation and high-quality standards throughout the review process

About the team and the role:

Join eBay’s AML Compliance team and be part of a group committed to flawless compliance and high-quality outcomes. This role is an outstanding chance to create a significant impact by identifying and reporting potentially suspicious activities. As a Junior AML Analyst, you will work closely with the EU Chief Compliance Officer, the Senior AML Investigations Manager, and various internal partners. You will help ensure world-class regulatory compliance. Your expertise will support us in competing in the ever-evolving fintech landscape by implementing strong compliance measures.

What you will accomplish:

  • Review potentially suspicious seller activity and evaluate it according to AML requirements
  • Prepare and draft SARs/STRs for submission to the Financial Intelligence Unit
  • Assume responsibility for assigned investigations to ensure timely completion according to established SLAs
  • Maintain clear documentation and high-quality standards throughout the review process
  • Work collaboratively with collaborators across teams to gather information and share updates
  • Contribute to team projects and additional tasks that support the broader Compliance function

What you will bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in AML Compliance in Luxembourg, ideally within payments or fintech
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus
  • The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with senior leaders and colleagues
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities and working independently with mentorship from the team
  • Experience working with a range of collaborators in a timely and collaborative manner
