Job Description
The Junior Compliance Officer supports the company's compliance function by assisting in the implementation and management of the compliance monitoring plan. This role involves ensuring adherence to MiFID and broader EU regulations through active participation in monitoring, deploying compliance initiatives, preparing reports, and collaborating with internal teams. The officer will support senior compliance personnel, identify and escalate risks, and help disseminate regulatory updates within the organization.

Must Have:
- Assist in implementing and managing the compliance monitoring plan of the company
- Support the deployment of the compliance monitoring plan throughout the calendar year
- Help ensure compliance with various MiFID requirements and regulations
- Monitor activities related to compliance, under supervision
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with compliance standards
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and assist in communicating updates to relevant parties
- Assist in preparing compliance reports for management
- Support in addressing any compliance issues or concerns
- Participate in regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance risks
- Support in providing training and guidance to employees on compliance matters as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field
- 3-4 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory support role, preferably within the financial services industry
- Basic understanding of MiFID requirements and regulations
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a good level of accuracy
