Job Description

The PTP Accountant will work within the Aptiv values, ensuring a unified team approach and a commitment to results. Responsibilities include processing payable invoices in the EMEA region using the SAP system, controlling financial posting accuracy, supporting month-end and year-end closing, following Standard Operational Procedures, and assisting with ad-hoc activities and projects. The role requires a proactive approach and a dedication to the success of Aptiv's business, aiming for accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Must Have:
  • University graduate in Accounting, Finance, or Economy
  • Very good command of the English language

Your Role:

  • Process inflows of payable invoices within EMEA region into SAP system

  • Control over accuracy of financial postings, correction of errors and clearing of open positions on suppliers’ accounts

  • Support month-end and year-end closing tasks

  • Performing daily processes according to the Standard Operational Procedures and collaboration with audit department in case of internal or external control

  • Assistance in ad-hoc and non-standard activities

  • Participating in the projects and improvement actions, by assisting Supervisor/Project Manager
     

Your Background:

  • University Graduate - Education in Accounting, Finance, or Economy (preferred)

  • Very good command of English language

  • Knowledge of MS Excel, experience in working with SAP would be an asset

  • Well-developed prioritization and time management skills, good analytical skills, and problem-solving approach

  • Experience in Accounts Payable process would be an asset
