Industrial Engineering Technician
Job Description
- Assist in the analysis and identification of engineering changes and equipment calculation.
- Maintain the cutting area updated with the latest MBOM engineering changes and BOP versions.
- Maintain and support the CAO System.
- Keep the GSD-M system updated according to customer and plant requirements.
- Maintain updated control of changes.
- Assist in identifying, analyzing, and calculating equipment and tools.
- Ensure coordinated permissions are correctly loaded into GSD-M.
- Generate Cross Reference according to length charts.
- Maintain updated MBOM version control.
- Update terminal restrictions, stripping, and machines for new MBOM versions.
- Implement engineering and model changes in the cable cutting area.
- Keep the CAO System updated with engineering and model changes.
- Update monthly batches according to production control photo or as needed for cutting mix changes.
- Coordinate rebalances in the cutting area.
- Coordinate cable movements in pagodas and keep the location map updated.
- Attend all coordination, committee, and cutting/engineering related meetings.
- Participate in follow-up meetings in the cutting area.
- Assist in the preparation and review of machine loads.
Generic Description (Responsibility):
Responsible to the SLIM Process Engineering Supervisor (Industrial Engineer), assisting in the analysis and identification of engineering changes, equipment calculation. Maintain the cutting area updated according to the latest coordinated versions of MBOM engineering changes, BOP, as well as the maintenance of the CAO System and its support.
Maintain the GSD-M system updated according to coordinated engineering changes according to customer and plant requirements.
Required Competencies/Skills:
Technical or Professional School. Decision making. Effective communication skills. Knowledge in database management. Work instructions applicable to Process Engineering. Knowledge in IATF16949 and ISO14001 & ISO 45000. Teamwork. Intermediate Office Suite proficiency. Basic English knowledge. GSD System knowledge. Cable cutting knowledge. Customer requirements knowledge. BOP Cutting knowledge. CAO system proficiency.
General Functions:
Maintain updated control of changes.
Assist in identifying, analyzing, and calculating equipment and tools.
Ensure that coordinated permissions are correctly loaded into GSD-M.

Coordination of rebalances in the cutting area.
Coordinate cable movements in pagodas and keep the location map updated.
Attend all coordination meetings, committee meetings, and all meetings related to the cutting and engineering area.
Participation in follow-up meetings in the cutting area.
Assist in the preparation and review of machine loads.
Any other work activity related to your position.
