Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Animator to join our small Animation team, collaborating with a committed development team. The role involves rigging characters and implementing them into the game engine, as well as collaborating with animators to maintain animation pipelines and tools. You will also be responsible for setting up post processes in Unreal for physics and secondary animation. Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and possess experience in Maya and Unreal Engine 5, bringing innovation to technical challenges.
Must Have
- Rig characters and implement them into game engine
- Collaborate with animators to implement and maintain animation pipelines and tools
- Set up post processes in Unreal for physics and secondary animation
- Experience in Maya
- Experience in Unreal Engine 5
Good to Have
- Practical knowledge of programming languages (Python, C# / C++, etc.)
- Practical experience using unreal animation systems, including motion matching, state machines, and blueprinting
- Professional experience developing third-person action games
- Experience working on released games
- Experience creating maya tools for animators and riggers
