Job Description

Lead Core Game Designer responsible for team management, including planning, task setup, and result review. Acts as a feature owner, developing complex features and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Writes feature documents and sets up tasks for animators, VFX artists, and programmers. Conducts playtests, processes feedback, and reviews data. Generates ideas to improve core game systems like combat, AI, and movement mechanics.

Responsibilities:

  • Team management: planning, setting up tasks, review of results.
  • Take on the role of feature-owner: develop and maintain complex features, collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Write feature documents, set up tasks for other teams - animators, VFX, programmers, etc.
  • Conduct playtests, process feedback, review the data.
  • Generate ideas to improve the overall game systems – combat systems, AI, movement mechanics.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a senior/ leading game designer of core gameplay.
  • Experience in managing a team of at least 4 people.
  • Experience game design in a PvP game.
  • Rich gameplay experience in multiplayer games (e.g. Fall Guys, Brawl Stars, Duck Game, Brawlhalla, Super Smash Bros).

Welcomed:

  • Extensive experience working with Unity.
