Job Summary

11 bit studios is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role involves leading, mentoring, and managing a small team of DevOps engineers, ensuring smooth information flow between development teams, DevOps, and IT. The successful candidate will develop and execute DevOps strategies, improve efficiency, and maintain automation scripts, build engineering, and internally hosted services like Perforce, contributing to meaningful game experiences.

Must Have

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a small team of DevOps engineers
  • Maintaining smooth information flow and cooperation between game development teams, DevOps and IT
  • Developing and executing DevOps strategies
  • Ensuring stable functioning and continuous improvement of automation scripts, build engineering, supportive services and internally hosted services
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps position, preferably in a game development environment
  • Experience in project management, team coordination or a leadership position
  • Professional experience with automation, build engineering, coding, data management, infrastructure management, and/or online service management
  • Solid professional understanding of Python
  • Experience with compiling and deploying game builds (preferably using Unreal Engine)
  • Experience with Ansible or similar deployment and automation tools
  • Experience working with Docker
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus or any other monitoring tool

Good to Have

  • Professional experience with continuous integration/delivery systems
  • Deep knowledge of at least one version control system, preferably Perforce
  • Very good communication skills
  • Fluent English
