Lead Exterior Icem Surf Modeller

About the Role:

Techchnicon Design is excited to offer a new opportunity for an experienced Exterior ICEM Surf Digital Modeler to join our growing design team. This role focuses on both early and late phases of new automotive projects. As the Lead Modeler, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of digital modelers, ensuring high-quality delivery in accordance with our standards and timelines.

You’ll work closely with designers and studio engineers, contributing your expertise while maintaining strong communication across departments. This role requires both technical mastery and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of digital modelers working in ICEM Surf.
• Manage workload and timelines to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Coordinate and collaborate with design and studio engineering teams.
• Report project status and progress to the Project Manager.
• Ensure adherence to company processes and standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in digital modeling using ICEM Surf within the automotive industry.
• Proven team leadership experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Technical Skills:

• ICEM Surf – Expert level.
• CATIA – Strong competence in both solid and surface modeling.
• Teamcenter – Knowledge is a plus (Author/Viewer level).
