Job Description
We are Belka Games—a leading mobile game developer ranked among Europe's top-grossing studios, according to data.ai. With over 110 million players worldwide, our titles frequently top the charts in the US and EU.
Clockmaker is a successful match-3 project with a history spanning more than 10 years. We’re looking for a Lead Game Designer (Match-3) who will be the driving force for our match-3 division!
What you'll do:
- Participate in developing the roadmap and ensure it is implemented
- Lead the development and improvement of core and features in the match-3 segment
- Implement A/B testing to check hypotheses
- Analyze statistics from match-3 levels and features, draw conclusions from them, and suggest improvements
- Write and validate documentation developed in conjunction with the match-3 team
- Monitor trends in match-3 games and adjacent genres
What we need from you:
- 2+ years of experience as a Lead Game Designer, Senior Game Designer
- A portfolio of successful match-3 projects
- Experience with analytics, including reading dashboards, submitting requests to analysts, and interpreting data
- Experience conducting experiments and A/B testing with match-3 levels and features
- Experience creating difficulty curves, level design and match-3 mechanics design documentation
- Deep understanding of match-3 level design and level mechanics
- Familiarity with the match-3 market and its trends; extensive media literacy
- Experience making decisions based on game-related statistics
