Ubi Q&A:

How to prepare my application at Ubisoft Paris Studio?

First, read the job description carefully to highlight your experiences and skills that seem relevant to this position! A personalized and well-detailed CV will surely allow you to stand out 😉

Cover letter or not? If you have to choose, we will always prefer a few lines explaining your interest in the specific internship/apprenticeship, rather than a long generic copy/pasted text! A dedicated section is provided for this purpose when you apply on our site.

How does the recruitment process at the Studio work?

If your application is selected, you will first be contacted by a representative of our Campus team for a phone exchange to determine if your profile matches the announcement and your desires. A video interview via Teams will then be organized with your future internship supervisor. It is also possible that you may have to pass a practical case during the recruitment process or interact with your next n+2 and some of your colleagues.

I don't know the video game industry. Do I have a place at Ubisoft?

It all depends on the position: if you want to join us as a Game Designer, Gameplay Programmer, or in our Marketing functions, good knowledge of the sector will logically be expected. However, for many other professions, this is not essential; the proof is that Ubisoft has many profiles in its ranks who are not video game enthusiasts. We primarily seek to surround ourselves with passionate people, whether it's about their specialties, their professions, or entertainment in general.

How are Trainees supported during their experience at Ubisoft Paris?

Our Campus team is responsible for supporting you throughout your experience. Our interns of today will become our talents of tomorrow, our teams are committed to supporting you in your learning and making your internship a real springboard.

You will have close HR follow-up (answers to daily questions, mid-term and end-of-term reviews…) and you will join the Studio Academy, our Trainees community, which, throughout your internship, will give you the keys to succeed and grow with us, thanks to actions put in place just for you (Welcome Sessions, dedicated Teams group, conferences… and some other surprises 😉).

I have a disability, how do I apply?

All our recruitment teams have been sensitized to disability issues. You can therefore apply normally via our Smartrecruiters platform by attaching your CV and cover letter. If you need an adaptation of the recruitment process, especially when it involves video interviews, specify it in your application and/or contact the Disability Mission team by email (Boost@Ubisoft.com).

Consult this guide which aims to support you in your application, and discover our actions to encourage more diversity and inclusion.
