WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

As a Lead IT Consultant at SimCorp, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a diverse and global IT Operations team focused on delivering high-quality service worldwide. As a member of our server team, you will be responsible for servers & infrastructure, where you will work closely with team members located in other parts of the world.

The position is based in Copenhagen, and you will be part of the Global IT team of +50 employees, 15 of whom are a part of the IT Operations team worldwide. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • On-premise server configuration and maintenance
  • On-premise hypervisor configuration and maintenance
  • On-premise storage systems
  • Hardware maintenance in the Data Center
  • Participate in implementation tasks and projects
  • Solve tickets (incidents and service requests) on a global scale
  • Yearly budget input

WHAT WE VALUE

  • 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Hypervisor (VMWare with a VCP Certification) and Hyper-V (MCSA Certification)
  • Azure knowledge
  • Automation knowledge - PowerShell, VB, C#, and Ansible
  • On-premises server knowledge (HPE servers, Dell Servers)
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Platforms, Citrix, VMware, Linux, etc.
  • Be able to work efficiently and take initiative
  • Have a high ‘Sense of Urgency’ and focus on prioritizing tasks
  • Collaborative and contributing to a good team spirit
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle incidents and service requests effectively
  • Effective communication skills and a willingness to collaborate
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends in technology
  • A service-oriented and positive mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality support and solutions
  • Knowledge and experience of using ITSM tools, Jira and Confluence
  • ITIL Foundation or higher level of ITIL certification.
