This role is crucial for SimCorp's new Business Services unit, which delivers Technology Enabled Business Services. As a Principal IOS/IAS Super User, you will act as an internal expert and change agent, supporting Investment Accounting and Operations teams with daily operations and ensuring effective adoption of technology platforms. Responsibilities include providing technical support, facilitating organizational change, participating in client onboarding projects as a subject matter expert, and collaborating on process improvements and standard release cycles.
Must have:

  • Safeguard standardization agenda internally and towards internal stakeholders.
  • Support dialogue about short-term vs. long-term solutions.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support as an internal expert.

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to identify business process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to evaluate benefits of Standard Release cycle changes.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

Business Services is a new business unit, delivering Technology Enabled Business Services, leveraging SimCorp with the best of our market-proven technology platforms. Our team consists of expert professionals to create world class investment accounting services (IAS), investment operations services (IOS) and data management services (DMS). Ensuring effective adoption of our technology platforms is crucial to ensure we reach our full potential which is why this role is essential to us.

To support the standardization agenda and hereby enhance the operational efficiency across the platform we are looking for IOS and IAS Super User. You will act as an internal expert in Business Services, a change agent and support our Investment Accounting Team (IAS) and Investment Operations team (IOS) with daily operations.

This position will work closely with the Business Services operations team to provide technical support and will take part in facilitating organizational change to ensure successful adoption of new systems and ways of working.

The position requires a deep understanding of SimCorp Dimension with focus on transaction processing, reconciliation, asset servicing and accounting (IBOR/ABOR areas). You will be expected to participate in Client Onboarding projects as a subject matter expert and will report to Head of Business Development & Scaling.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Making tactical short-term solutions to support the operations team in Business Services.
  • Safekeeper of the standardisation agenda internally in Business Services and towards internal stakeholder
  • Support the dialogue internally in Business Solutions about short term vs. long term solutions.
  • Support day-to-day Business Services operations team with technical support as an internal expert
  • Support client onboarding projects as SME
  • Conduct training sessions, and guide colleagues on how to use the system efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to identify business process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to evaluate the benefits of implementing Standard Release cycle changes.

  • +10 years of profound SimCorp Dimension skills – IOS (IBOR) / IAS (ABOR)
  • Profound experience within the Derivatives and Collateral space
  • Problem-solving skills to identify problems, analyze them, and propose solutions.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy, completeness of deliverables and a service mindset.
  • Project management skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Interpersonal skills to be able to build relationships and collaborate effectively
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial technology and business processes, especially with asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies or Asset servicers.
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are beneficial.
