JOB DESCRIPTION
YOUR PURPOSE
The Lead, People Services is a strategic leader responsible for transforming HR service delivery through data-driven decision-making, innovative technologies, and continuous process improvement. This role drives the modernization of HR operations by leveraging analytics, AI, and automation to enhance our team member’s experience and operational efficiency.
YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE
HRIS, Operations Excellence & Data Governance
- Oversee and execute on all processes relating to a team member’s lifecycle to ensure a positive experience
- Act as the primary escalation point to help solve both day-to-day and more complex operational problems
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs, service metrics, policy updates and process management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Be responsible for the employee data across the employee lifecycle, including creating a plan for data cleaning, maintenance tracking and reporting
- Create ways of working in process execution and service delivery by working with the Global HR Teams as well as local counterparts in other Ubisoft offices
- Proactively network to understand and improve processes in a highly complex global organisation, while advocating for Singapore Employment practices and needs
- Lead system enhancement projects, working with IT and global HRIS teams to implement new functionalities and improve user experience
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, PDPA, and global HR data privacy regulations
- Manage system configurations, user access controls, security protocols, and audit readiness
Mobility & Immigration
- Manage relocation, immigration, and international mobility programs
- Partner with Legal and external vendors to maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration policies and ensure seamless processing of work passes and permits
Analytics, AI & Automation
- Manage monthly dashboards for HR and business leaders covering headcount, retention, performance, engagement, and diversity metrics.
- Identify and pilot innovative technologies including AI, automation, and digital solutions to streamline HR processes and improve service delivery
- Develop and execute automation opportunities that remove manual work, increase processing speed, and enhance self-service capabilities
- Implement intelligent workflows and automation across employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, case management, and routine transactions
- Ensure ethical and compliant use of AI and automation in HR, including data privacy, security, and bias mitigation
Leadership
- Develop, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of two direct reports, fostering technical depth and analytical capabilities
- Effectively manage and partner with external vendors including managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) and contract negotiation
- Build strong partnerships across HR teams, IT, Finance, Workplace and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
WHAT YOU BRING
- Progressive experience in an HR Generalist role with working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including: HRIS, HR analytics, and operations
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at all organisational levels
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of leading data-driven HR transformation initiatives and implementing automation or AI solutions
- Expertise in managing HRIS system
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with analytics and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, or similar platforms)
- Proven ability to demonstrate high level of professionalism, exercise appropriate judgment, strong organisational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment on sensitive matters
