Job Description

As a Lead Product Engineer at Cadence, you will be instrumental in identifying and developing new features within the Design-For-Test (DFT) and Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) domains. You will collaborate with R&D and PV teams to validate these features, creating methodologies, flows, and documentation to enhance the tool's usability and quality. Furthermore, you will work closely with field teams to benchmark customer designs, supporting successful deployments and influencing the development and modification of tools to meet customer needs. This role also includes supporting Innovus hierarchical partition tools and top-level timing closure flow, as well as resolving complex customer hierarchical issues.
Must have:
  • Identify new features in DFT & ATPG domains.
  • Develop product specifications for implementation.
  • Validate features with R&D and PV teams.
  • Develop methodologies, flows, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with field on customer design benchmarks.
  • Drive development/modification of tools.
  • Support Innovus hierarchical partition tools.
  • Support top-level timing closure flow.

Skill Required:

  • Be a part of the Modus PE team in identifying new features in DFT & ATPG domains and developing product spec for implementation.

  • Work with R&D & PV teams with validation of said features, Development of methodologies, flows and documentation to help improve usability and quality of the tool

  • Collaborate with field to benchmark on  customer designs towards successful deployment

  • Work with R&D teams to drive and influence the development of new tools, as well as the modification of existing tools to address the needs of customers and market.

  • Support existing Innovus hierarchical partition tools and top-level timing closure flow.

  • Support benchmarks and solve complex customer hierarchical issues.

Educational Qualification:

  • B.E/BTech/ME/MTech. in EE/ECE/CS
