About the Team and the role:
You’ll be joining the Seller Experience organization within eBay — the heartbeat of our global marketplace. This team is dedicated to building seamless, end-to-end digital experiences that empower sellers to list, sell, and scale their businesses on eBay. We are passionate about enabling entrepreneurship at every level — from casual sellers to professional merchants — and crafting innovative solutions that our seller community loves.
eBay is transforming commerce with eBay Live, a new era for seller-buyer interaction through engaging, interactive experiences.
In the role of Lead Product Manager at eBay Live, your responsibilities will involve shaping and advancing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for eBay Live seller experiences globally. You will orchestrate projects aimed at enhancing live commerce, making it more user-friendly, interactive, and expandable — enabling sellers of all scales to thrive instantly.
You will partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing teams to drive tangible business outcomes and elevate seller success. This highly visible, cross-functional leadership role requires a blend of critical thinking, in-depth product expertise, data-driven decision-making, and genuine empathy for our global seller community.
What you will accomplish:
- Develop and implement the product vision and strategy for eBay Live seller experiences, ensuring it aligns with eBay’s broader corporate and Seller Experience objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to build scalable, mobile-first tools that enable sellers to host, promote, and run live selling events with ease.
- Apply a data-informed approach to validate hypotheses, define success metrics, and iterate rapidly to deliver meaningful outcomes for sellers and buyers.
- Champion the voice of the seller, integrating user insights, research, and behavioural data into every stage of the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders across product, development, and engineering to ensure strategic alignment, execution clarity, and effective prioritization.
- Establish guidelines and frameworks for experimentation, validation, and decision-making that can scale globally.
- Identify and drive innovation opportunities, bringing to bear trends in live commerce, creator ecosystems, and mobile-first engagement.
- Work closely with Program Management to address barriers, boost delivery efficiency, and update senior executives on progress and breakthroughs.
- Foster a culture of speed and excellence, balancing quality with velocity and empowering teams to make decisions confidently.
What you will bring:
- 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 2+ years at a lead or principal level coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Consistent track record of building and scaling customer-facing digital products, ideally within commerce, social, or live content ecosystems.
- Strong strategic and analytical approach — skilled at turning uncertainty into concrete, measurable product roadmaps.
- Extensive background crafting mobile-first and interactive experiences, especially with live video, community, or products driven by creators.
- Shown success leading global, cross-disciplinary teams across development, research, engineering, and data.
- Expertise in AI adoption, experimentation, A/B testing, and product validation frameworks.
