Get to Know the Role
As a Lead Software Engineer in Test (SET) within the Payments team, you will define and execute the quality strategy for high-stakes, real-time financial systems. You'll ensure the code we ship is resilient, compliant, and production-ready by embedding quality from the earliest stages of development.
You'll work hands-on to craft scalable test plans and frameworks while ensuring robust coverage across unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end layers.
You will be reporting to Head of Engineering, PayX. This is a hybrid role and you will be in office 3 days a week.

You'll collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Software Development Engineers (SDEs), and fellow SETs. Together, the team works on building reliable, scalable, and compliant systems that power payments across Grab.
This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where quality is a shared responsibility—and your role will influence how the entire team builds and ships software.
