Job Summary

Amanotes is seeking a Junior Quality Control (QC) to join their Publishing team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role involves working closely with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure high-quality user experiences. Key responsibilities include reviewing design documents, creating test plans, executing product testing, reporting and tracking bugs with clear evidence, validating data via SQL, and testing APIs with Postman. The ideal candidate will contribute to smooth and high-quality game/app experiences.

Must Have

  • At least 1 year of experience in game/app testing.
  • Review and understand design documents to identify testing requirements.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and prepare relevant test data.
  • Execute product testing and report bugs related to gameplay, graphics, logic, UX, and UI/UX.
  • Detect, reproduce, and report bugs with clear evidence (steps, logs, screenshots, crash data, videos).
  • Track fixes and collaborate with the development team for timely resolution.
  • Track and manage issues, updating the project team on product quality status using JIRA.
  • Validate data via SQL (BigQuery/MySQL) and test APIs with Postman.

Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Review and understand design documents to identify testing requirements, then create detailed test plans, test cases, and prepare relevant test data.
  • Execute product testing, report bugs and issues during testing, including (but not limited to) those related to gameplay, graphics, logic, user experience, and UI/UX.
  • Detect, reproduce, and report bugs with clear evidence (steps, logs, screenshots, crash data, videos), track fixes, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely and complete resolution.
  • Track and manage issues, continuously updating the project team on product quality status using JIRA (or equivalent platform)
  • Validate data via SQL (BigQuery/MySQL) and test APIs with Postman.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and propose improved testing methods or tools for the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working experiences:
  • At least 1 year of experience in game/app testing.
  • Solid knowledge of testing principles and the game/app development process.
  • Understanding of software testing, especially manual testing.
  • Proficient in writing test cases, checklists, executing test runs, and reporting bugs.
  • Knowledge of testing across multiple platforms and devices.
  • Basic IT skills: organizing and managing project documents, using tools like Google Sheets, Trello, Jira, or Asana.
  • Programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Playing games and have experience with various mobile game genres is a plus
