Job Summary
The GE Vernova Turbine Production Plant in Elbląg, operating since 1948, produces complete steam turbines for power plants worldwide. The Quality Controller will identify parts, conduct inspections based on documentation, supervise manufacturing operations for compliance, fill out inspection protocols, oversee special processes, and manage non-conforming parts. The role also involves external supplier audits, participation in quality problem-solving, and supervision of measurement tools and personnel.
Must Have

Job Description Summary
The Turbine Production Plant in Elbląg has been operating since 1948, and currently operates under the banner of the global GE Vernova concern. It specializes in the production of complete steam turbines for steam, gas, and nuclear power plants. It produces complete steam turbines of various powers, as well as modules, subassemblies, and spare parts, using innovative technological solutions. Thanks to this, steam turbines produced by the GE Power sp. z o.o. branch in Elbląg are delivered to power plants all over the world.
Job Description
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Identification of parts based on drawing/documentation.
- Conducting inspections based on valid and complete work documentation.
- Supervision of all manufacturing operations for compliance with the drawing.
- Filling out and checking issued inspection protocols and confirming their correctness.
- Supervising special processes according to data in quality assurance procedures and special manufacturing and inspection instructions.
- Conducting geometry and surface inspections in accordance with the drawing, technical documentation, and relevant instructions.
- Handling defective parts in accordance with the non-conformity procedure, i.e., ensuring appropriate marking and segregation of non-conforming products and issuing a non-conformity report.
- Monitoring the current status of issued non-conformity reports (NCRs) to ensure the fastest possible conformity of the detail and updating information about their status on tags and other designated places in the production department.
- Conducting external acceptance inspections at subcontractors.
- Co-participation in the development of A3 analyses and others related to solving quality problems.
- Supervision of manufacturing personnel (self-inspectors) and maintaining supervision statistics to evaluate self-inspectors.
- Supervision of measuring tools and measuring equipment used in the manufacturing area.
- Co-participation in measurement system analyses (MSA), hazard analyses (FMEA).
- Active participation in identifying and eliminating losses in the area of the occupied work position and performed work.
