Data Analyst / Data Quality Analyst

Within BESIX Infra Support, we are building a modern, data-driven organization. Our teams rely daily on correct data to efficiently support operational processes. With the migration from Navision to Business Central, we are investing in the future and seeking reinforcement to ensure the quality, structure, and stability of our data. As a Data Analyst / Data Quality Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding, improving, and monitoring our data, working closely with various departments to interpret, structure, and utilize data for ERP migration, master data setup, reporting, and data quality governance.

Must Have

• Analyze source data from NAV/4PS and other systems.
• Perform data profiling to understand quality, structure, and inconsistencies.
• Detect errors, duplicates, missing values, and deviations.
• Formulate recommendations for data controls, remediation, and quality improvement.
• Use Power BI to visualize data quality.
• Support migration activities like mapping, validation sequences, and cleaning scripts.
• Contribute to data definitions, naming conventions, and data standards.
• Develop and maintain a data catalog and data lineage documentation.
• Establish data quality rules and controls.
• Monitor data flows and support data stewards.
• Develop practical documentation for non-technical departments.
• Translate complex data solutions into clear, usable information.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts for functional and technical alignment.
• Communicate clearly with business stakeholders.
• Actively contribute to a constructive, solution-oriented culture.
• Strong experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in Power BI and BI reporting.
• Understanding of ERP data models and migration processes.
• Experience with data quality rules, profiling, and cleansing.
• Insight into metadata, governance, and data catalogs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets.

• Experience in ERP projects or digital transformations is an advantage.

Job Description

As a Data Analyst / Data Quality Analyst, you play a key role in understanding, improving, and monitoring our data. You work closely with Business Analysts, Data Stewards, IT, and various departments (Finance, Planning, HR, Fleet, Project Management). You help the organization to correctly interpret, structure, and utilize data in the context of:

• ERP migration (NAV → Business Central)
• Master data setup
• Reporting and operational processes
• Data quality and governance

You are strong both analytically and communicatively. You can dive deep into data, but also explain clearly and pragmatically what the impact is for the business.

1. Data Analysis & Profiling

• Analyze source data from NAV/4PS and other systems.
• Perform data profiling to understand quality, structure, and inconsistencies.
• Detect errors, duplicates, missing values, and deviations.
• Formulate recommendations for data controls, remediation, and quality improvement.
• Use Power BI to visualize data quality (completeness %, duplicate rates, invalid values).
• Support migration activities such as mapping, validation sequences, and cleaning scripts.

2. Data Governance & Quality Processes

• Contribute to data definitions, naming conventions, and data standards.
• Develop and maintain a data catalog and data lineage documentation.
• Establish data quality rules and controls (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness).
• Monitor data flows and support data stewards in their responsibilities.
• Develop practical documentation that can be used by non-technical departments.

3. Business & Stakeholder Communication

• Translate complex data solutions into clear, usable information.
• Close collaboration with Business Analysts for functional and technical alignment.
• Communicate clearly with business stakeholders such as site management, HR, purchasing, planning, and finance.
• Actively contribute to a constructive, solution-oriented culture.

Job Requirements

Technical knowledge

• Strong experience with SQL is required.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Proficient with Power BI and BI reporting.
• Understanding of ERP data models and migration processes (NAV/4PS, Business Central).
• Experience with data quality rules, profiling, and cleansing.
