As a senior leader, this role combines deep technical expertise with strategic oversight across the practice, leading complex client engagements and driving transformation across tools, processes, and delivery standards at an enterprise level. The Principal Technical Architect will also play a meaningful role in Services pre-sales, defining project scope and managing sales efforts to ensure successful delivery. They will serve as a technical authority, mentoring consultants, shaping solution design, and guiding future technology direction within Adobe Customer Solutions Professional Services.

Must Have

• 10+ years of experience in technical consulting
• Proven track record of leading complex Adobe Experience Cloud implementations
• Ability to operate at an executive level, influencing strategy, tooling, and process transformation
• Experience inspecting and improving delivery across multiple practices or business units
• Strong understanding of Workfront, DPO, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience reviewing SOWs and collaborating with Sales teams to improve pre-sales alignment and outcomes
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaborator management skills
• Proven ability to mentor and develop consulting talent

Role Summary:

What You’ll Do:

As a senior leader you will combine deep technical expertise with strategic oversight across the practice. This role is crafted for a seasoned consultant who has not only led complex client engagements but also drives transformation across tools, processes, and delivery standards at an enterprise level. You will also play a meaningful role in Services pre-sales process. You will ensure defining project scope and managing sales efforts set delivery teams up for success.

Strategic Technical Leadership

As a recognized leader, you’ve architected and led enterprise-scale integrations within the Adobe digital marketing platform, aligning client goals with Adobe standards. You’ll serve as a technical authority across multiple domains mentoring consultants and shaping solution design and future technology direction. You’ll assess current architecture and marketing capabilities. You will partner closely with cross functional groups to ensure seamless collaboration and excellent delivery.

Cross-Practice Delivery Oversight

Lead project execution reviews, using delivery frameworks to promote consistency and excellence. Develop and implement an inspection strategy using QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and defect management to uncover risks, close coverage gaps, and improve reliability and client satisfaction. Apply hands-on QA expertise to detect risks and recommend improvements. Collaborate with Engagement and practice leads to champion continuous improvement. Align project leadership with business strategy, IT roadmap, and technical teams. Communicate technical and business strategies clearly to diverse audiences.

Executive-Level Enablement & Transformation

Collaborate with senior Adobe leaders to accelerate innovation by enhancing tools, methodologies, and workflows. Lead modernization initiatives for delivery platforms—including Workfront, Fusion, and JIRA—leveraging technology insights to streamline collaboration and boost efficiency. Champion Professional Services in executive forums, shaping strategic roadmaps, inspiring change management, and enabling enterprise-wide success.

Post Sales-to-Delivery Gap Inspection

The ideal candidate ensures projects start strong and finish flawlessly. You’ll validate handoff docs and SOWs for feasibility, alignment, and risk. Collaborate with Sales and Solution Architects to close scoping gaps and improve selling practices. Act as the bridge from deal close to kickoff, refining templates and enablement. Enhance inspection tools and reporting to spot risks early and drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
